Some quotations

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle - Plato

This quotation has a profound meaning and imitates to a common sense which is very uncommon. It means to say that we are often so involved in our own lives problems and miseries that we cannot even perceive the problems which others are facing. Our life will become much easier if we pay some attention to others' woes and understand them. Also, just as we want others to be able to see our problems and be kind, we should reciprocate.

Death is not the worst thing that can happened to men - Plato

We often consider that death is the ultimate penalty that one has to face. Even though that is probably the scariest moment of life, its definitely not the worst. Often, he is challenged with circumstances which is much more challenging than death itself. Those are the times when death starts looking like a reprieve rather than a penalty. But probably that is what make a man a man.

Life

Life is happiness
Ranging from those innocent games in childhood
To those jokes with friends which brought us closer
The moments when I felt on the top of the world when I fell in love
When success came and I was talking to clouds
Indeed, life is happiness

Life is struggle
If only I could be good be as good as him...
If only I had a better childhood
Another day passed and so many to go
Where am I going, if somebody could let me know
So much to do, but seems impossible to start
Indeed, life is struggle

Life is sadness
How could I forget the time when I felt paralyzed
when nobody was with me, and even I wanted to leave me....
I still often feel lost
I often feel my dead inside
I often pity me, as I struggle for that better life
Indeed, life is sadness

But give a thought from a bird's eye
Didnt you came up everytime you fell?
Did you ever lose the zeal to get better?
You learnt your way and you would keep learning
So get up now, and stop frowning,
Coz life is indeed, what you make of it.

How to stay motivated?

Frankly speaking, I have been asking this question to myself for few months now. The obvious implication is that I am demotivated. Without getting into details, let me summarize what happened to me. I climbed from being low to medium  height and then really high, and all of a sudden back to medium . This downfall was as bitter as possible, and have left me doubting everything I thought I was worth of. With time, I have been able to gather certain motivating thoughts and I will jot them down.

Lets forget the world. Just consider yourself. At each second of your life, you tend to find ways to be happy. So here is an approach to be happy. You are at point x in your life. You want to reach to point y. No matter how bad or worthless you are, you would always want to reach to y. There are two ways to reach to y. One is that, let me try to reach to y because I really want to reach there. I am disheartened and everything, but let me just try. The second approach goes like this: Here I am at x. I do not know whether I can reach to y or not. But how about I give it a nice try, and embrace with wonder everything which comes in between. Be ready to tackle all the challenges, but never forget who I am in my desperation to face them. The challenges can be in the form of a much better colleague, or me stammering while talking to my boss, or my inclination to show that you are inferior and I am better. No matter what you are, your next step is all about bringing a change in yourself by listening and talking to yourself. So follow the second way.

Well there it goes, my first personal post! A little bit on the dark side, but its a start.
